Two West Kootenay residents are among three Columbia Basin students receiving this year's Neil Muth Memorial Scholarship, which supports people who have demonstrated perseverance in the face of adversity as they pursue post-secondary education and career goals.

West Kootenay Transit riders will see several route and schedule changes beginning June 29.  According to BC Transit, the adjustments include schedule changes across the system, modified service on several routes and changes to transit service in Blueberry Creek.

DriveBC says an incident involving a semi-trailer blocked all lanes this morning.
