RCMP say their gang enforcement team seized guns, ammo, suspected illicit drugs and other items from a home and vehicle in Fruitvale.
The bus was made on April 1 and also saw the arrests of two men and two women from Fruitvale and Trail, one age 40 and the others age 33.
All four were released pending further investigation into alleged drug trafficking and weapons offences.
Sgt. Mike Wicentowich says the RCMP’s gang squad has been traveling to hep smaller detachments in cases believed to involve drug trafficking and weapons possession.
“Trail RCMP appreciates and supports their efforts to curb drug trafficking and prevent future violence during their operation in the Kootenay,” he said in a news release.
