The Trail Smoke Eaters kicked off their BCHL regular season schedule by splitting a home and home with the West Kelowna Warriors over the weekend.
They lost 4-3 at home fFriday in front of over 2,000 fans.
On Saturday in the Okanagan the smokies rebounded with a 4-0 shutout win.
