Salmo has named a new economic development committee that includes three local entrepreneurs.
They’re the owners of the Dragonfly Cafe, Billy’s Auto, and mining company Margaux Resources.
Mayor Stephen White says they’ll work with council to improve the business climate.
White says Salmo has already had some success including a 15 per cent increase in business licenses since 2014.
