Castlegar RCMP have arrested four people in their 50s and 60s in two separate cocaine busts.
They say they executed a search warrant today no a home in the 2600 block of 5th Avenue and took a 63-year-old man and 57-year-old woman into custody without incident. The second warrant was in the 200 block of 3rd Avenue and saw a 56-year-old woman and 62-year-old man arrested.
Suspected cocaine, drug paraphernalia, and cash were seized from both homes. All four were released on bail and are due in court Sept. 20.
Police say they are continuing to investigate and expect to recommend trafficking charges to prosecutors.
