Castlegar residents face drug trafficking charges

Drug trafficking charges have now been approved against two Castlegar men following a traffic stop earlier this year.

Police said they arrested the two men on Feb. 15 after pulling them over in the 600 block of Christina Place. They seized what was suspected to be fentanyl and meth as well as cash.

Prosecutors have now charged Jesse Farmery, 30, and Charles (Chuck) Adshead, 59, with two counts each of possession for the purpose of trafficking.

Both will be in court July 26.
