The Regional District of Central Kootenay and BC Wildfire Service are hosting a community information session tonight (Tuesday, August 28). Castlegar and area residents can learn more about wildfires in the region including the Bulldog Mountain, Syringa Park, Deer Creek, and North Bowman Creek wildfires. It’s at 6:00pm at the Castlegar and District Community Complex in the Selkirk Room.
There’s two other meetings happening tomorrow. One in Edgewood at 3:00pm at the Royal Canadian Legion and the other at the Nakusp and District Sports Complex at 7:00pm
