The Canadian Federation of Independent Business is once again giving top marks to Fruitvale.
The village ranked 15th in the annual study of municipal spending, down from eighth place last year.
It ranks communities based on the increase or decrease in per capita spending from 2014 to 2015 and a ten-year trend.
Fruitvale’s held the line on spending year-over-year while it went up 28 per cent over a decade.
Castlegar was 56th, Rossland 80th, Warfield 82nd, Montrose 88th, and Trail 102nd.
