Fruitvale tops all local municipalities in a report from the Canadian Federation of Independent Business.
It gauges per capita spending by BC’s cities, towns, and villages as well as the rate of spending growth.
By their reckoning Fruitvale is eighth-most fiscally responsible community out of 152 in the province.
Rossland was 25th, Castlegar 38th, Trail 88th, Warfield 109th and Montrose 115th.
