A Creston-area regional director is making another push to bring cell coverage to the Kootenay Pass.
Larry Binks will meet with government officials at next month’s Union of BC Municipalities convention.
He’s hoping they can encourage telecommunications companies to put in the necessary infrastructure.
Binks says it’s a safety issue given the amount of commercial traffic over the pass.
