Rossland residents can bring their wildfire hazardous vegetation to the Rossland Arena parking lot and deposit it in the specially designated dumpster bins.
This service is a community safety initiative, and must only be for wildfire hazard vegetation only.
No building materials, junk or land clearing debris welcome.
The City of Rossland says this is a trial opportunity, please don’t abuse this service.
Other rules include:
-No stems thicker than 10 centimetres ( 4 inches)
-No branches longer than 2 metres (6 feet)
-Please make your vegetation as compact as possible
-No invasive species , fruit or bagged vegetation
