A 35-year-old Trail man will be in court in July after being arrested with bear spray, drugs, and cash.
RCMP say they took the man into custody on Saturday afternoon near the intersection of Columbia Avenue and McQuarrie Street in East Trail for breaching a condition of his undertaking.
A search then turned up a bear spray cannister, 88 grams of suspected ketamine, drug trafficking paraphernalia, and $3,855 in cash.
Young runaway changes her mind
A five-year-old girl in Fruitvale who didn’t want to clear her room decided to run away from home. But police say she only got as far as the end of her driveway before a neighbour talked her out of it.
“No update on whether she cleaned her room later that day,” quipped Sgt. Mike Wicentowich
