Trail's chance to grill CPR on night train changes

Residents in the Genelle – Rivervale area and other sections along the rail line to Trail are being asked to voice their displeasure with CP Rail tonight.

Area B Director Linda Worley and MP Alex Atamanenko will host a public meeting about the unannounced schedule change that now sees trains blaring their whistle-horn in the middle of the night. Castlegar residents have also been up in arms.

Rivervale residents also have track maintenance worries.

CPR representative Mike Lovecchio will be there.

Worley says people need to show up.

The meeting goes from 6-30 tonight at the Greater Trail Community Centre on Cedar Avenue .
