The Kootenay Gallery is introducing a pair of exhibits which take a scientific approach.
Curator Maggie Shirley says they’re welcoming two artists who are looking into global warming.
Paul Walde is bringing a sound exhibit called Alaska Variations.
Jill Pelto’s tangible artwork ventures through climate change data.
They open March 2.
In April the gallery will screen a ski film which ties in with the exhibits.
The event is for all ages, Shirley says they’ll have more info closer to the event.
