RCMP seek public assistance for suspicious death investigation

Trail RCMP and the Southeast District Major Crime Unit are seeking public assistance in their investigation of a suspicious death in Genelle.

Corporal Dan Moskaluk says they’d like to speak to anybody who may have been in the area January 13 and 14.

The investigation’s focus surrounds Sunday night’s discovery of a dead body inside an abandoned car on Highway 22 which had been set ablaze.

He says they’d like to hear about any unknown or suspicious vehicles that might have been in the area over the weekend.
