The RCMP Southeast District Major Crime Unit and Trail RCMP are investigating a death with is being treated as suspicious.
On Sunday around 9:00 pm firefighters responded to a vehicle fire near Genelle on Highway 22.
A body was discovered inside.
The vehicle is described as a grey 1999 Honda Civic 4 door sedan.
Police are seeking public assistance in the investigation and would like to speak to anybody who was in the area January 13 and 14.
No further details are available.
The burned vehicle is described as being similar to the one in the following two pictures.
