Rossland City Council has approved in principle the new five year plan put forward to all East End communities by the Lower Columbia Initiative Corporation.
But Mayor Greg Granstrom says they will decide on funding around $30,000 a year if their budget allows.
Last year only Trail supported continued funding for the LCIC – which is an economic development group working for the Greater Trail Area.
But their contract was not renewed.
They have now secured a part-funding commitment from the Columbia Basin Trust.
