A Winlaw family has started a home for abused andĀ abandoned farm animals.
Patricia Smuga says they have 18 animals at CiciĀ Life Farm Sanctuary.
She says they were prompted by concerns about factory farming.
Smuga says the sanctuary is now a non-profit society.
