They’ve talked about the birds, but now the City of Castlegar is ready to touch on the bees.
Tonight city council will set forth guidelines for a pilot project which would allow backyard beekeeping.
Staff are suggesting that each home accepted for the project be limitted to a maximum of four colonies.
The city recently announced a pilot project to allow a few residents to keep backyard chickens.
