Trail R-C-M-P say an incident involving a fisherman on the Columbia River Tuesday could have been much worse had he not been wearing a life jacket.
Corporal Devon Reid says the 52 year old man’s boat experienced motor troubles near the Victoria Street Bridge.
 The man did not suffer any injuries.
The boat is still lodged underneath the bridge.
