A project to restore a transmission line in the Arrow Lakes area will begin next month.
BC Hydro spokeswoman Mary Anne Coules says the line is ageing.
The project will wrap up in 2018.
The line serves customers in Burton, Fauquier, Nakusp, New Denver, and Silverton.
