Blueberry Creek Community School society stands by practices

The executive director at Castlegar’s Blueberry Creek Community School says they will move on from recent controversy.

Rebecca McDonnel says some parents have raised concerns with the board’s handling of last year’s financial issues.

Some also had concerns with staff ratios and criminal record checks.

McDonnel says the school has proven their practices to be exemplary.
