School District 20’s Early French Immersion program will be moving on from its roots as a pilot project.
Superintendent Bill Ford says students in Castlegar will be offered a full-fledged program.
The program will move forward one grade at a time until the current lead class of first graders get to the sixth grade.
After that happens there will be no late immersion intake.
Eventually the program will accommodate grades K-12.
