Capping its first year, Trail’s new Glenmerry Elementary School hosted Premier David Eby today.
Students toured Eby around the school, which opened in September, and performed for him on drums and ukeleke. He also met with students involved with a recent heritage fair.
Eby, who stands six-foot-seven, joked that he appreciated the school’s high ceilings. His visit to the West Kootenay this week will also see him touring sites in Fruitvale, Castlegar, and Nelson.
