Man turns himself in for aggravated arena assault

A 57-year-old Grand Forks man turned himself in to police at the Trail and Greater District RCMP Detachment.

The man was arrested by an officer for the alleged assault, the result of an argument of an air horn turned physical, leaving a Fruitvale man with serious injuries.

The man was released with a promise to appear in Rossland Provincial Court on June 26.

A report will be forwarded to Crown Council.
