Provincial budget consultation team to make stops in the Kootenays

The province’s Select Standing Committee on Finance and Government Services will make stops in Cranbrook and Nelson as part of Budget 2026 consultations.

Those interested in participating in the in-person meetings are asked to register here by April 11 at 2 p.m. (Pacific time).

The province will begin accepting written feedback in June.

In-person consultation sessions are planned in the following communities:

  • Victoria
  • Surrey
  • Vancouver
  • Courtenay
  • Terrace
  • Quesnel
  • Fort St. John
  • Vernon
  • Penticton
