Trail Smoke Eaters deliver mixed bag on the road

The Trail Smoke Eaters are going to be pretty tired after a long road trip over the Thanksgiving weekend.

Their first game against the Alberni Valley Bulldogs saw the Smokies chasing most of the game.

While they managed to tie it up in the third period with Christian Kim finding the net, they went down 3-2  in a shootout.

A goalfest against Victoria on Saturday saw Trail edge out the Grizzlies 6-5 in over time

And a couple of costly penalties within 30 seconds of each other gave Cowichan Valley a chance to score on the power play and take the win 4-3.

The Trail Smoke Eaters wrap up a long road trip with a 7-5 win over the Powell River Kings last night.

Evan Sundar lead the way with a 3 point night and now has 14 points in the season. He’s currently top 3 in the League.
