You’re invited to a groundbreaking ceremony next week for the Columbia Avenue Complete Streets project in Castlegar.
It happens at 11:00 am Tuesday on the corner of Columbia Avenue and Selkirk Avenue.
Road and utility work begins next week between 17th Street and 13th Street.
Columbia Avenue will be repaved with pedestrian and safety improvements and there will be sewer fixes.
Work will carry on til October.
