The Canadian National Alpine and Ski Cross Championships are being held at Red Mountain.
The competition includes slalom, giant slalom, ski cross and team dual race events.
Vice race chair Christine Andison says over 260 athletes have gathered to compete.
She says the first Canadian championship was held at red 120 years ago.
The races go today and tomorrow.
