West Kootenay BC Basketball Officials carrying on with fundraising efforts

The BC Basketball Officials Association is working to raise cancer awareness.

Over the past month they’ve been selling pink whistles in an effort to raise money for all types of cancer.

West Kootenay president Bruce Fuhr says his area will be continuing the campaign past the February 17 deadline.

He says many people within the association have been touched by cancer in some way.
