A serious accident on Highway 22 this afternoon sent three people to hospital.
Kootenay Boundary Fire Rescue responded to an accident involving two cars near China Creek Road around 3:15 pm.
RCMP are investigating to determine the cause of the accident.
The highway was closed temporarily then ran single lanes until the area was cleaned up.
