We're being shown the sensible pot path: activist

A local marijuana activist says BC is being shown the sensible way forward by some US states on how to regulate pot .
Nelson’s Herb Couch – who was a petitioner with the Sensible BC legalization referendum push – is speaking as Washington State allows recreational marijuana to be retailed as of Tuesday.
Most of the taxes Washington will charge on the marijuana will go to health care and drug abuse treatment and education.
And retailers in that state also expect an influx of pot tourists from Idaho.
