Columbia River Skywalk opening is a big deal for Trail’s mayor

The Columbia River Skywalk in Trail opened for public use Thursday.

Mayor Mike Martin was ecstatic to see the crowd of roughly 125 brave the cold to be among the first to walk across it.

A bit of work still needs to be done before the grand opening in the spring.

When the weather gets better the city will add landscaping to the approaches.
