Name officially chosen for popular Castlegar park

Forever more Castlegar’s Millennium Park will be know as…Millennium Park.

This after the City held an online vote through its website to determine once and for all what the title of the area of land surrounding the Millennium Pathway should be.


Councillor Dan Rye says with all the development taking place in the park they needed to make one name official.

63% of respondents chose the name Millennium Park while 17% wanted it to be called Twin Rivers Park.
