The City of Rossland has adopted a "food charter" aimed at promoting regionally grown and marketed food.

Caley Mulholland, a volunteer with the Rossland Sustainability Commission's food security task force, is delighted.

Mulholland says the "food charter" is an aspirational document that focuses on local, healthy, affordable food production.
