Rossland responds to AGLG procurement audit

In response to the AGLG audit on capital procurement performance the City of Rossland says it has incorporated her recommendations into their action plans.

Those recommendations included strengthening senior management and council oversight.

But the city is also bemoaning the huge strain on their resources that the audit required.

It says citizens need to know the costs of the process when compared to the benefits received.

Mayor Greg Granstrom is awaiting a formal response from the BC Mayors caucus to the entire AGLG process before he comments.
