Boil notice issued for West Robson water system

The Regional District of Central Kootenay has placed the West Robson water system on a boil notice.

The system is on Broadwater Road, downstream of the Keenleyside Dam, and serves 110 connections including two trailer parks. The water is drawn from two wells.

The RDCK says the boil notice has been issued due to adverse water sampling test results indicating the presence of total coliforms.

Everyone’s being told to boil their water or fine an alternative until further notice.
