Citizens On Patrol thwart B&E

Castlegar Citizens On Patrol hit the jackpot in the wee hours of Sunday morning.

They spotted a vehicle parked in front of a hole in the fence at a business on Minto Road.

The RCMP were called and they found a woman in the passenger seat. Attention and that of the special dog unit were then turned to another possible suspect.

Corporal Debbie Postnikoff says a 42 year old man was found hiding on the compound.


The Salmo couple have been charged with break and enter.
