First taste of Spring possible this week for West Kootenay

These high temperatures forecast this week are not out of the ordinary for this time of year but they are compared to the rest of Canada.

Southeast Fire Centre weather forecaster Ron Lakeman says we could get OUR first real taste of spring with the possibility of the thermometer reaching 20 degrees.

Lakeman says we’re getting spoiled compared to how the rest of the Country looks.

But Lakeman says we would have to pass 23 degrees to break any records this week.
