Greenwood expects delay in AGLG audit

The fact B.C’s Auditor General for Local Government is behind schedule actually benefits the village of Greenwood.

This from Mayor Nipper Kettle who expected their inquiry would start in October…it’s labelled – Managing The Inherent Risks Of Limited Human Resources Within Small Local Government.

However, AGLG Basia Ruta’s goal of completing 18 audits by the spring time has only resulted in only one community being looked at – Rossland.

 

Kettle says he’s not surprised there’s a delay due to the amount of time it took to complete Rossland alone.
