Violin Lake is private property keep out!

The city of Trail is warning those who are ignoring signs and closed gates and accessing the Violin Lake area.

It is private property and off-limits to any public activity.

Public Works Manager Larry Abenante says they’re very concerned about ATV’ers, motorbikers and campers who’ve been found in what is a restricted area.

Camp fires have been lit which pose a danger to the community.

Also there is logging in the area with heavy machinery.

The city says they’ll be keeping an eye on the property and trespassers will be reported.
