A house fire in Nelson in the early hours of Friday morning is causing suspicion.
It appears to have originated under the front porch of the pine street property in lower Fairview.
Fire chief Simon Grypma isn’t giving too many details.
He says this is very serious because often occupants might not notice a fire that is burning outside.
In this case the smoke alarm inside did go off.
