BC Snowmobile Federation warns about local avalanche risk

Heavy snowfall this weekend could increase avalanche risk in the backcountry in our region.

That according to Media Director for BC Snowmobile Federation Trish Drinkle.

She says it’s important to carry proper equipment at all times.

And adds any elevation and terrain are susceptible to slides in these conditions.

Drinkle adds all people using the back country should have this equipment.
