RDKB chair excited to begin 2018

The new chair of the Regional District of Kootenay Boundary says 2018 will be a big year for the board of directors.

Roly Russel says they’ll work harder to advocate for the communities they represent.

Russel says it will be a year of change for the board with a new CAO and corporate communications officer.

He says 2017’s fire season provided challenges but they were prepared last year after dealing with a difficult season in 2015.
