An old church in Trail will be undergoing a transformation.
Trail’s corporate administrator Michelle McIsaac says city council passed a zoning amendment bylaw which will allow the building’s owners to convert it to a studio and residence.
She says the owners will have to run some interior upgrades but will ensure the heritage building’s integrity remains intact.
The changes have been approved by the Ministry of Transportation.
The church has been vacant for four years.
Roman Catholics in Trail now worship at the Holy Trinity Church on 3rd Avenue.
