RDKB happy with new CUPE deal

The Regional District of Kootenay Boundary is pleased with the new collective bargaining agreement that its unionized employees ratified last week.

Chief administrator Mark Andison says negotiations with CUPE 2254 members went smoothly.

He says the deal is fair to both sides.

The union represents approximately 85 members.

Eighty-nine percent voted in favour of ratification.
