In BCHL action over the weekend the Trail Smoke Eaters saw their winless streak climb to five games.
Friday they suffered a 6-3 loss to the Vipers in Vernon.
The Vipers scored all 6 of their goals on the power play.
Saturday the injury-plagued Smokies took a 4-0 loss at home to the Merritt Centennials.
Smokies forward Ryan Murphy says they’ll bounce back.
Trail lost Saturday despite outshooting the Cents 41-16.
