A Castlegar city counicllor is calling for changes to the area’s ambulance service.
Sue Heaton-Sherstobitoff says patients from Castlegar often have long waits for ambulances.
She says Castlegar residents are underserved.
She adds the problem isn’t just for those who call 911.
She hopes to see the provincial government get involved to ease the situation.
