Rossland’s mayor has been taking part in some brainstorming sessions to look into a poverty reduction plan for the Lower Columbia.
Kathy Moore says the group was brought together by Jan Morton with the Skills Centre in Trail.
She says lots of discussions focussed on affordable housing.
Moore hopes to see the BC Government adopt a poverty reduction plan as we are one of the only provinces without one.
