The City of Trail has been recognized for their 2016 annual report with the Canadian Award for Financial Reporting.
Communications and events coordinator Andrea Jolly says the city enhanced their annual reports a few years ago.
The report was judged based on a number of criteria including demonstrating “a constructive spirit of full disclosure” to communicate Trail’s financial story.
The award is meant to encourage municipal governments to publish high-quality reports.
